Teacher Training Course (TTC) is a practical course to help those interested in embarking on English-teaching career learn the ABCs of teaching. It, also, is a refresher course for in-service teachers to gain the cutting-edge knowledge of ELT and to refurbish their teaching skills.
This course is held in two modules:
- Teaching English to Adults
- Teaching English to Young Learners
Course Description (About TTC)
Each module is a sixty-hour practical course which runs for eight weeks (one day a week) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The course includes a series of interactive input sessions on the key areas of teaching (such as ‘classroom management’ and ‘teaching skills and systems’) delivered by internationally certified trainers, plus a number of TPs (Teaching Practices) performed by the candidates on a weekly basis throughout the course.
To attend the course, candidates are required to demonstrate language ability at level B2, minimum – which will be identified through an oral interview and a written test.
By the end of the course, participants will have acquired all the basic skills and knowledge for teaching, and will be properly equipped with the standard tools for managing classes, and enhancing creativity and reflection.
